Video Reflection : Annie Leonard - The Story of Stuff
This video is warning people how important the environment is. The video explains the process of how products are made and in that process, how we are damaging the nature and even damaging human physically. I was even scared while watching the clip. I want a be a designer, but i agree that some designs are pretty but functional and waste l lot of materials. I think the days that people design a product only considers 'look nice' is getting toward its end. We can not afford that luxury anymore because we already have used the 1/3 of our resource less than hundred years that earth took millions years to make it and its running out fast. Designers now have to think cleverly how we can design with minimum effort and material that creates maximum effect.
